Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical DRG Auditor, Specialist
(Remote Nurse in US).
Key Responsibilities
Perform audits of medical record documentation to ensure accuracy
of diagnosis and procedure codes
Assist in training and mentoring new coders or auditors
Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and attend required
training sessions
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the United States
One coding certification (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, CCDS, or CPC)
within one year of hire
5+ years of clinical experience in an inpatient hospital
setting
3+ years of MS DRG/APR DRG coding or auditing experience
Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding
methodologies
