Description Summary / TWC Summary: The College of Science
Engineering and Technology at Texas Southern University is
accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of
Unmanned Aerial Systems, who is competent in instructing students
with an active research agenda. The ideal candidate will possess a
terminal degree (Ph.D.) with an emphasis in Aviation, Drone
Technology or Aeronautical Engineering from a regionally accredited
university, with a supplemental field in Aviation Management or
Drone Technology. This is a 9-month tenure track position with
teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate and/or graduate
levels. Essential Duties Summary:
Supplemental field in Unmanned Aerial Systems/UAV or Aeronautical
Engineering. Required Licensing/Certification: FAA Part 107
