Apply today!About the roleAs a Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for the planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks required to ensure safe and efficient operational effectiveness of Reworld process equipment and systems.Responsibilities:

• Repair/maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery
• Operate hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machine failures
• Familiarity with 480VAC 3-phase industrial electrical equipment
• Ability to communicate with and direct contractors
• Ability to interact and communicate with plant operations personnel to diagnose and correct machinery defects
• Utilize Reworld's computer maintenance software to document and track maintenance history of equipment
• Observe and evaluate the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions utilizing test equipment
• Familiarity with instrumentation and controls is a plusPosition Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED; technical degree preferred
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of industrial plant equipment
  • Ability to provide leadership to the team for daily work
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with minimum notice
  • May be required to work overtime hours during planned and un-planned maintenance outages
  • Qualify to wear full-face respirator
  • Ability to pass safety courses as assignedPhysical Demands:
    • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
    • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
    • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
